Ed Sheeran, the Grammy winner, had made none less than 60,000 audiences wait twice in order to answer to nature’s call. The singer was singing in a concert set in Cardiff. He was singing his famous number Galway Girl, after which he had to leave the stage to pee. After this, he resumed the pace. However, after singing three more songs, he had to apologize to the people attending the concert and rushed to pee again.
After the two halts, he sang to his heart’s contents, pleasing the crowd to the fullest.
Ed Sheeran had drunk a few bottles of water to beat the heat of the set, which led to the undesired circumstances. The concert on Saturday at Cardiff was the last but one performance in the UK before returning to the Amsterdam and mainland Europe. He is the first singer to perform on four back-to-back nights at the Cardiff area.
On Sunday, Sheeran has the final performance at Cardiff and the authorities have designed a proper plan to help the people reach their homes safely through the most convenient route. The closure of the Severn Tunnel has restricted the services to the London Paddington. Due to this, the audiences from London will be able to take a single service, which will be functional an hour before the concert starts. However, it will take 40 minutes more than the usual time.
After the concert is over, the audiences will be able to board a single service that runs to Hereford and Swansea through Newport.
Arriva trains have also declared that the availability of the trains to Caerphilly, Barry, Pontypridd, Treherbert, Carmarthen, and Ebbw Vale will not be available after the concert ends.
The night marshals of Cardiff will be patrolling as the aforementioned scenarios will inevitably enhance the demand for the cabs.
